Price Chopper announced that starting May 13th they will change their Fuel AdvanTage Program
from 10¢ off per gallon for every $50 spent to 10¢ off per gallon of gas for every $100 you spend!
BUT,
they are also saying that they will Price Chop more products, Will have over 2,000 items at Low Prices EveryDay, more and bigger Price Breaks every week and more!
What do you think of these changes? Honestly, this doesn't affect me! I only shop
at Price Chopper when they have a good sale and I want to double my coupons.
If I don't have a Price Chopper coupon or I can't double a coupon I usually just Price Match at Walmart!
I want to Rant about Price Chopper for a minute though... So yesterday I did stop at the Oneonta, NY Price Chopper because I was going to pick up Ragu Pasta sauce that is 1/2 off and Croutons that are 1/2 off this week. I could have Priced Matched the Ragu because there is an actual price in the flyer but couldn't on the Croutons... so anyway.....
In my flyer.. comes from Albany Paper
It say Ragu is 1/2 off with a price of $1.74
So I get to the Oneonta Store... I don't usually go to this one because prices are usually higher then the Cobleskill store that is the same distance from me, but I was in Oneonta!
The Price of Ragu is $1.89 1/2 off that is crazy... 15¢ difference!!!! Really!!!
So if it's not 1/2 off I'm going to pay 30¢ more!!!
There is something wrong with that!!!! So if you live in the Oneonta area...This is what I would do
with items you can Price Match at Walmart. I would pick up one of the Albany Papers
and take the Cobleskill, Albany area Price Chopper ad and price match at Walmart!
I walked out of the Oneonta Price Chopper with NOTHING!!!! I will go to Price Chopper Cobleskill tonight when I take my daughter to cheerleading and get what I need or better yet
Just PRICE MATCH at Walmart!
** I have seen products in the Oneonta Price Chopper up to $1 more than the Cobleskill store!!
THIS IS CRAZY!
